Experienced Office Administrator – Ardee

O’’Dowd Veterinary is a long established, mixed companion and farm animal veterinary hospital. It has expanded over the years and now employs approximately 20 staff. We have an enthusiastic, progressive team of veterinary practitioners, nurses and support staff that provide a full range of veterinary services. We operate from a modern, purpose built and
fully equipped hospital in Ardee and smaller branch practice in Dunleer, County Louth.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2 years’ in a busy Administration/Receptionist role.
Experience dealing with the public is a vital requirement for this position.
Experience in human resources, financial management and health and safety are desirable attributes for this position.
A veterinary/agricultural qualification or experience with veterinary products would be beneficial but not required.
Full drivers licence.

Excellent communication skills with a passion for customer service.
Tactful and efficient in dealing with queries, requests and issues.
Superb organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
Approachable, enthusiastic and motivated team player.
Ability to multitask in a people-facing environment. Intermediate-advanced computer skills.
