The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be well organised. A cool head under pressure is a must and the ability to overcome objections is essential. You will be a bubbly personality with a genuine interest in bridal, fashion and fabrics.
Basic admin and computer skills are an advantage as is experience in FB, insta, google ad words and other forms of social media.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Greeting customers and taking a bridal consultation from start to finish. Assisting the bride In finding her gown.
Filling in and completing paperwork to a high standard to ensure all information is correct.
Handling bridesmaid appointments.
Social media posting.
Maintain excellent visual merchandising throughout the shop.
Quality control, Steaming and pressing dresses to a high standard.
Behind the scenes duties include.
Keeping the shop both front of house and storage areas clean and tidy at all times, making customer refreshments, filing and other office duties, preparing for events and shows.
Wedding dresses can be very heavy so an ability to lift is a must. It is a physically demanding job where you can be on your feet all day.
Hours : Part-time to include a Saturday as a must and possibly 1-2 days in the week. Likely a Thursday and Friday. Hours between 8 and 20.5 to be negotiated.
Some Sundays will be required.
